That's exactly the reason why I don't have one yet. Nice ones with 70 000 km can be found in the 3500 euros range.
I've just missed one in UK for £3500...20000 miles. You need to avoid 2003 year models though.... disastrous hydraulic tappets which failed and filled the oil pump with metal. Otherwise their mechanically very tough. Electrics can be temperamental.
