I was sure it was a misprint or wrong price but a gel seat is about £50 on world of triumph site,2011 model read some mixed reviews are these decent as about 100 mls or so and comfort suffers, have seen airhawk pads etc but more expensive.

    I can tell you tomorrow
I bought the gel seat for £47 odd quid and fitted it today to my 2016 R
Tomorrow will be the first ride on it
It doesn't feel any different to the standard one when I pocked it with my finger...

Just had someone call in for one of those Bonnie gel seats but unfortunately now out of stock at Triumph. WoT must have got the last ones. Lots of other stuff still available including the high level exhaust I put on my Street Twin for £750 last year at employee discount, now £125 (gutted).

Used my bike with the gel seat today for the first time and tbh I didn't notice any difference at all

Just the same as the original, I did check the part numbers just incase it was a gel seat already fitted and they are different

I've made the same purchase in the WoT sale for my 2017R, I'm not convinced there's a great deal of difference to the standard seat from the 40 odd miles I've ridden on it, I'll stick with it for now to get used to it then maybe swap back to the standard seat to compare

I've had a gel seat on my 2011 Speedy for over a year, found it to all day comfortable. My wife is now using my 2011 after I purchased a new RS, she's happy with it too' longest ride, about 120 miles so far

Apparently the gel seat works and you won't find the difference by feel of hand. You won't feel much of a difference on shorter rides however on longer rides the gel seats stops your bum going numb. I haven't personally tried it so can't vouch for it. I will take the word from members who have actually used them. I have ordered a comfort seat for my Street Triple and it's on back order.

i don't tend to get much time on bike due to work and static van so when i do go out 2to3 times a month i normally use full tank, average over 100-150 or so mls over 2hrs or so and only on way home get real pains so maybe I'm expecting too much or just need to stop for a break instead of no getting off bike until home.
