Any of you guys like your gardens I used to get some funny looks off some of the bikers years ago as i was into plants and gardens even as a youngster and although since the twat next door has been a pain we dont spend as much time in ours as we would like i still keep it looking reasonable and the wife does the front garden and the veg plot.

We both love Japanese Acer's and when we moved we found a nursery that had plenty at very cheap prices and some we have rescued from the supermarkets and one of these it the biggest they have come into leaf early this year and are looking rather splendid and not bad for an 8 year old garden.

Yeh I love gardening to so nowt strange there, great looking garden by the way and koi pond looking great for being so young a plot, we downsized quite a bit 9 year ago bungalow smaller garden lost my pond but still kept to plants I love like acers, shrubs and clematis but found clematis hard work at the end of the season cutting back etc and as soon as they really become established you lose the ability to maintain your fences, so out they came.
Well done thanks for sharing :cool:

Wow you got some garden there mate. love your koi and all the plants. I have a very small garden and try my best to make it look good but it bad soil used to be marsh land. My little back garden we had to concrete and slab as it always used to get flooded in heavy rain. Now I really envy you in a brotherly fashion. Top bike fantastic garden and the house looks neat aswel.
    Kind Regards
    Joe.

That's an awesome looking garden Tricky, I admire your patience and effort, my eldest brother is the same and spends hours cultivating plants, ME I just cannot be arsed grass to me would be concrete painted green and I will leave the cultivating to the birds and bees, but its nice to look at.

Now I have a problem growing rhubarb, it usually dies. But, I've got a plant that's lasted the last couple of years but it only produces thin stalks. How do you get big fat stalkers ?

Our garden is getting a bit better.
Just built the potting shed for Mrs Freck and done the decking. Greenhouse coming soon then some paving to cover over the concrete. :grinning:
