I have an 04 Speed Triple 955 and when I start it it seems to run for ages on fast idle before it settles down, much longer than my other bikes, it drives me nuts, can anyone please tell me if this is normal for the 955 or is there something amiss. Thanks.
It sounds like your issue might be linked with the Idle Air Control Valve or IADC and it's vacuum pipes. This is located under the air box and is often resolved by cleaning and /or replacing the vacuum pipes . Have a look on the parts section for your bike on the World of Triumph website.
I had a look on World of Triumph but couldn't find that part, I'll have a look for it next time I have the tank and airbox off for servicing, thanks for your help.
