2020 T-100 ordered and paid for. It's sitting at the dealership, ready for delivery next week! The garage was hosed down of winter salt from the snow, prepared a sheet of plywood with rug attached, where the bike will rest. ......Neighbors watching crazy Steve hosing down the floor of his garage with snow still on the ground outside....heheheheheheh. Now to just wait....tick tick tick tick tick

Well, I have to admit, there is a pristine 370Z up there waiting to be unleashed again this Spring...haha. But in deference and to pay tribute to my British friends here (a little off topic, I apologize) I did have this British beauty for 10-years and made her a concourse-grade eye turner. 1973 2500M TVR.
Very nice - I can totally imagine the tinny clunk (click) sounds synonymous of the poor quality workmanship in the doors, hinges and latches as the door is closed. Being a TVR it would only slightly be more reliable than a Harley Davidson or a Ford Edsel. Despite that, I’d definitely have one. Amazing vehicles!
Oh yes, when you own a TVR, you very quickly learn to ease those doors shut, not slam them. One time, I took this new girlfriend for a ride in it...... After the ride, I asked her how she liked it. She replied: "You could feel every bump, it hurt my kidneys, It's too loud, and......the smell of gasoline (petrol) made me nauseous!" Well, heck, I had to ditch her right away......the gal, not the car.... Can you imagine the audacity of those comments....hahahahahahaha. True story.
I had a TVR T350 I sold the car and kept the girl. The girl (now wife) didn't try to kill me most days.....
Well, here she is! Have ridden her about 300 miles and after 40 something years, every ride feels better. I am adjusting to stopping at lights and stop signs however. Feels a little wobbly and not sure if I put one foot down or two. The day after it was delivered, I could not restrain myself. It was 34 degrees. I bundled up and thought I would just ride up and down my street in my neighborhood. Well.......... 3 hours later, I was still riding it in the city, on the highway and all over the place. Now with around 300 miles on her, it is a joy to ride, on warmer days of course. I just installed a "Dart Marlin" windscreen on the bike and I do notice a difference on the highway. Not a huge difference but just enough to make it a bit more comfortable. I did have one incident in my garage however. My fault.....was supporting the bike with one hand checking the oil and it tipped over. Broke the tip of the brake lever off. Will get that replaced at the 500 mile checkup. I did notice one braking issue however. On very rare occasions, I would squeeze the front brake and it would feel spongy. Quickly releasing it and then pulling it, fixed that. My friend said I may have had an air bubble in the line. I tried a trick I saw online....... squeezed the brake lever, tied it up squeezed and left it overnight. That was supposed to apply slight pressure to the line and then if there was any air bubble in the line, it would theoretically force it out. Yesterday I rode about 30 miles of combined city and highway driving and I did not experience that issue at all. Maybe that fixed it?
