Hey all, Long story short, I was fitting a pair of Motone billet indicators yesterday and when inserting the bullet connector into the turn signal wiring adapter, the gold end of the connector snapped off. I didn't use excessive force or anything (just fitted the same to the rear too without any issues) it just seemed really delicate. Is it an easy fix or do I need to get in touch with Motone? Here's a photo of the connector:
Like smilinjack says, if you want to drag it out, contact motone but personally, i'd spend a couple of quid in halfords instead to get it done. Who knows, the replacement may have the same error and it'll be nice to get out!
Thanks for the answers! Is it an easy fix then? No need for soldering or anything? I have limited tools unfortunately so don't really want to have to spend too much money on a solution!
You can just get a crimping kit. £5 ish and a selection of crimps but has the crimp tool too. Always handy.
