Just sat here tonight planning a wee run roon Scotland at Easter. A few nights away with the missus on the bike. Be first time for her, had an SV and a 750 Gixxer previous, so not really suited to 2 up touring. Up West coast to Eilann Donan Castle, then Ullapool before back down Loch Ness and over Glencoe to Inverarary and back down west coast. Be about 700 miles, 500 of which will be 2 up. Can't wait. Feel grown up booking B&B, always use bunkhouses and hostels for bike runs, but the missus is posh !!! What you got planned?
Bless you! Lol. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Lol.. Interesting destination, maybe in a few years when I get a bit of a big traillie will have to do a bit of overseas stuff.
Sad really but as I'm also a steam choo choo buff I'm thinking of a tour of some of the heritage railways up here in't North country sometime between the Bank Holidays in May
Nothing planned at the moment, but hope to be doing a couple of long trips. Last year rode from Durham down to Isle of Wight, then to London , Colchester before returning back up to Durham. Didn't clock the mileage, but it was a fair few! I'm also planning on going to the cruiser meet at Dent
Black Forest and Normandy for 17days in June/Julywith three other mates from down south, probably be about 3500miles for me hope the weather is ok.
