Evening Guys. Looking at buying a 955i Daytona in the very near future. A friend is selling his rather nice 05, so hopefully deals will be struck soon... I've had a few bikes, some good, some bad, some that should have left well alone, but hey, we've all done that.. Haven't we... Last one in the stable was a Buell Firebolt, and it was nice to take the 955 for spin, and not be shaken about, dont get me wrong, i loved the Buell for corners, and of course the harley derived motor always made people look round. So thats where I am at the moment. Cant wait to enjoy a 955i. All the best, and of course I'll be asking all the same questions... Nick.
Had a quick poodle around the block earlier, love it, pipe sounds spot on, pulls nice and smooth, brakes nice, after the Buell any bike is going to feel soft on the front tbh, but the Daytona felt nice, and well balanced. fingers crossed everything falls into place....
Welcome, Nick. I had an '02 Daytona Centennial from new but illness forced me to sell it. I loved it, but if I'm honest it was wasted on me. Far too good!! You will enjoy it when you get it - I have decided!
