Finally got round to changing my bike! :0)

After just over 5 years of ownership of my first bike (Yamaha XJ6), and a Loooonnnggg time lusting after one, I put a deposit down for a Speed 94R at the weekend. Now just got to get through the long wait until 1st September to pick it up!

To say I can't wait is an understatement.....been desperate for one since taking one out at Triumph Live last year!!!!

Looking forward to all the forum has to offer.

My choice to wait.....though it might as well look new for 6 months rather than a couple of weeks. Anyway, for the last few years at least, Summer hasn't really hit until September/October time......fingers crossed!

A lot of sleep less nights until the day dawn's. Hope you have saved a few Quid's for the new riding gear to match. Black n yellow interesting colours to work with. I bet you have the sales brochure open with a PIC of this fantastic bike next to your pillow

Chewy, ironically I do need a new jacket, but will be waiting for the NEC for that one :0) I think I'll be focusing on the black side of things for any further gear.....the yellow may be a tad tricky to pull off!!!

I'm fairly sure there are going to be a lot of things I will want/need to buy in the upcoming months/years......t'internet is a very dangerous place for window shopping. I've already had to order a tanklock tankbag to replace my current magnetic one as I don't want the tank on this to look as bad and scuffed up as my current one does!!! There are many many many accessories to 'perv' at..........

Black and yellow would suit you as super wasp, tank bag just bought a Oxford 40 ltr from staffs bike show £30 should be £90 mag type but can also be a ruck sack with usual map sat nav pockets, side pockets, water proof not shower proof so don't need those plastic over covers ( i hope) when i will use it any ones guess. I guess you better save the cash for the immediate accessories rad guards, fly screen and cans if standards fitted.
