Hmmmmmm ...... maybe I should look into returning mine. Was that on ebay, DD? EDIT _ sorry, DD, just noticed the header strip .... DOH!! EUUUUUUWEAH - these strawberries taste 'kin awful. Has someone pissed on them?
Cheers for heads up DD , just ordered one, what memory card do I need, will the ones in MrO's post above do the job?
The reason I didn't have a GoPro was purely cost, just couldn't justify paying that much, for very occasional use. But for a bit of a toy, can't go wrong at £40. Plus, if I lost it off my helmet, as DD says, ain't going to be too gutted. Be shite'ing myself at £200+ hanging on by a bit of sticky pad.
My thoughts exactly, will be mounted on the race bike so it may have a short but exiting life, at £40 I will get over it!
Problem solved, the clamp goes around the indicator stalk. I also found out you can invert the camera, so it works upside down. Press powerpbutton a few times to get into menu, then scroll down till you find invert, then change to yes. Makes using the settings menus a bit confusing once selected tho
You need to install the app on your phone, start it up, then press the on/off button on the camera till the display shows WiFi connection... Then you select the appropriate WiFi channel on your phone and enter the password. In my case 1234567890. Then in the app you can select your device, and you can then download/delete files, and you'll be able to operate the camera from your phone.
These cameras are fantastic value for money, and even some of the big name motovloggers use 30fps still and get great results!
The only problem I have had, is that the camera and phone won't pair !!! Put the code in, 0123456789, but then nothing happens ??? It's small beer. I've been pulling the memory card, then uploading them via YouTube. Can store them on their servers instead of my hard drive
