Avid biker since age 12. Aside from the Triumph, I own 3 HDs and 6 Yamaha XS650s. I boat and fish regularly, and when the outside weather is no longer suitable for either the motorcycles or boats, I spend my days building amplifiers for guitar or home stereo (all 'tube' type units). 3 kids, 4 grand kids, and live happily with my girlfriend of the past 15 years. Originally from the Detroit, Michigan area, been in Maryland for 30 years now. Spent 33 years with an Auto Manufacturer, past ASE Certified 'Master' auto tech, and love to get my hands and fingers greasy! I love my 'new' Triumph, and have to admit that as much as I loved my 'old school' Brit Bikes, I'm now rather enjoying the 'push the button and it's ready to ride' status of this new stuff. I still have my old Yammies if I want to go kick-start something..... but I now do a lot of 'long-distance' riding....like 3 to 4 K, and for that, I have my new '19 HD Street Glide Special. Never thought I'd say this, but it's nice to listen to music when you're riding through some of the desolate areas of the US and Canada. I still love the 'music' of my exhaust pipes.....but like listening to any recording, some times it's nice to put on a different record! Anyway, love to ride, and I just wish I could find more people in my area that were available more frequently. Oh, let me just end by saying that after 30 years here, I'm REALLY getting tired of the same old roads around me! It now takes me 2 or 3 hours to get some place I've 'not' been before! Maybe I should move west or south?......lol Anyway....good luck to all...and 'ride safe'!! Tom
