Tom Lonsdale

Currently third generation of a four generation family of bikers - tradition continued by daughter Katy. I've been using a motorbike for fun, business, adventure travel and sport since the age of 14. I have ridden on four continents and owned nearly thirty bikes in total. First triumph experience was putting a secondhand Thunderbird engine into a Norton wideline to build a Triton in about 1969: that did about 45,000 miles before having its original Norton engine put back. 2020 sees me on my first full Triumph, a Tiger 900 Rally Pro. I occasionally write for motorcycle publications and am Political Officer for Huddersfield MAG.
