About
Started out on BSAs in late sixties early seventies. Made it to open expert on a modified 441 Victor. That is one tough animal to have earned that grade on. I still hurt. So many British bikes later I still keep one or two around just for fond memories and discussions with other crazy people. I found this site hoping I might find someone to do a 650 Triumph single motor rebuild on the East Coast. It has a new top done by Dude Wheeler just before he passed on. It doesn't make great oil pressure so I'm thinking I've got way to much money in this thing now there is no backing out so I might as well go all in and do it. Could do it myself but you saw my DOB and this is just one of to many bucket list things I'm trying to pull off. [email protected] is how to reach me. Along with a half dozen or so various Bultacos I owned ( Bandito 350, Metralla 200 If that's right and more than one Matador and yes a Honda here and there and just recently a Milwaukee Vibrator (blacked out evo sportster ) Hey it has a start button on the handlebar and I'm needing that from all the times that 441 took out my leg when I didn't respect it's compression stroke. Still riding on good days and hoping for more to come. Will never like the front and rear brakes levers being on the same side on these darn newer machines. That just doesn't make sense.Stats
