Just about to retire and claim my life back....

Yeah get what you are all saying about cars and like most of us I spend a lot of time behind the wheel.
It's has just been shall we say an awakening as to how thoughtless people can be but hay I am not going to let it piss me off.

Curly I have moved the rectifier (see pic) with a motone bracket to just above the horn, something which I must replace soon because it's barley audible.

 

Also Mick I keep the bonnie in a small outhouse we have and bar end mirrors would not fit through the door.
Although I am not chuffed with the oem mirrors I am struggling to find a set I like.
Would obviously look good without mirrors but just not practical to ride with out them.

Hi Chris, I really like your Biltwell Tracker bars. Do they have the welded nut inside each bar end for fastening end caps or attaching bar end mirrors?

 

No just clear tube which is a bit of a bummer but to be honest I did a 200 mile run round the IOW last week and they where fine.
Only really noticed when I did a long motorway run (which I avoid like the plague) and got a bit of tingle then.
Have stuffed some old pushbike handlebar ends in and they are fine.
Think some bar end mirrors have the plugs on them but never considered them as I like to look forward and high and don't like to have to look down to look at them
