I played his greatest hits CD on my way home tonight which I hadn't played for a few years.
I had forgotten how brilliant he is.
Soundtrack to Forest Gump for anyone interested is 'Against the Wind'

The song 'By the time I get to Phoenix' by Isaac Hayes is brilliant.

i find rock singers are often the best at ballads,they seem to be able to put much more feel into the songs

They hold an annual festival in Kirriemuir "Bonfest" he was born there.A statue was put up of him a few years back (i've got a photo with my bike next to it somewhere on here i think Brian did a great job as a replacement,here's one of him when he was in Geordie
