Thanks for not "raining on my parade" with the whole Ducati expensive/unreliable mantra. I get it, and while I say I don't know what I've let myself in for, I sort of do really! I'm hoping that Audi's influence may continue to sort out some of the gremlins and QC issues that have been ever present with Ducati. Fingers crossed. I ordered a disc lock from a company in Bolton and when the lady asked which bike I had, she chimed in that she rode a Monster 696 to work everyday and loved it. Though she did follow that up with a slightly non pc comment (in a broad Bolton accent) "you wanna make sure you replace all the "chinki" bolts on it, they go rusty at the thought of rain" Good advice!
That is pig ugly! What were these designers thinking about in the good old days? Even in my younger days when i was heavily into narcotics my imagination never ran that far away with itself! View attachment 1769
I've been in love with the Spitfire since I was a boy! I love my bikes, but I still think the Spitfire is the most perfect blend of design, form, function and beauty, just the sound of that engine makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Concorde follows a close second, followed by the original Duke 916 in third. Anyone disagree with my top 3
