Back on topic..... Got to HAND it to you guys, you can fill 2 pages with crap quite easily !!!

1st Rant - I just got royally screwed, paid £96 for a pair of tickets to see the Pixies play in Glasgow in August. Makes me sick these robbin barstewards charge this much just to see them play live. Paid £30 last year to see them at The Barrowlands, which was OK'ish, but a jump of 50% really pisses me off. I didn't get a 50% pay rise in a year, so how they can charge this much is feckin unreal !!! I know it isn't the band, but the promoters and venues etc who decide on cost, but the price of all live shows is ridiculous now. Someone like Adele charges £90~£100 !! WTF !!!!

2nd Rant - got to the final stages of the purchase and it declares I have added Event Insurance at £4.65 per ticket. No I bloody didn't !!! They might have slipped it in somewhere, but I bloody didn't add it. Easy to miss, as your so busy making sure you get a ticket before they are sold out, which they will be within the hour.
Have lodged a complaint with the insurance company Allianz and have started a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman. Really boils my piss that they think they can pull this crap and get away with it.

Ticket master......dont start me. One of the girls in my office asked me to get her tickets for that Ginger bloke what's his name ....head shearing:rolleyes: anyway sat at my desk waiting for the countdown for the tickets to go on sale . As soon as the time come up. The system crashed . By the time they fixed it the tickets were sold !!
Some of the prices for tickets are crazy .
I could have got them for her for 750 pounds on another site  the question is .....how did they get them ?

    Count me in
Looks like you might have to take her out on the town as compensation.

Great choice of band though Mr O! :D:D
I agree with pricing for tickets and I hate booking them on line and having to pay for the privilege.:mad::mad:
I think the cost is determined by how much some idiots will pay. A few years ago my mate paid almost £150,00 per ticket to see Coldplay. I mean what a tw*t for paying that much (and then for wanting to see Coldplay in the first place!)

Seems a fair price to me for the venue to insure themselves against Pictish hooligans.

    RANT.
How on earth Tony Blair has the audacity to resurface attempting to de-rail Brexit beggars belief.
The Chilcot joke of an enquiry should have seen Blair jailed for life many years ago.
Can't stand the smarmy, hypocritical, holier than thou scheming B*****d, and I pray for the day when Karma catches up with him.

Don't usually get involved in politics but you're right..........the closer I look at our country the more I see us turning onto f###ing America.........offer the whole country the vote but if the prominent few aren't happy with the result all sorts of s### gets thrown in the mix........to quote the lady now in charge..."Brexit means Brexit"............and as for America.......600,000,0000 million people in the country and those two arseholes are the best they could come up with...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?.............

The reality is that we are more in danger of losing our culture and identity to American influences than we ever were from Europe. Look at any European country - they all retain a strong sense of national identity and pride. Sadly we seem ashamed of ours and worry about offending some minority or other.

Dislike Blair with an intensity, and always have even before his Noo Labour came to power, but as one of the 48%-ers I too am on the side of a second referendum once we know the full terms of our European divorce, cuz if the power-brokers in the EU have their way (and they will) it isn't going to be some rosy sweetheart deal where we retain all the benefits and none of the costs of being part of the World's most powerful trading block.

Yeah we are going to get screwed and no mistake. Classic British behaviour in any negotiations - we end up with all the disadvantages and none of the benefits. We are our own worst enemy.

I have full respect for your views and feelings Rich but the UK people were given a referendum......voted to leave.....so we leave..........you can't have the people who don't like the result come up with all sorts of drivel because its not what they wanted.........it makes them look like a 4yr old stamping their feet because they can't have a bag of sweets............

Instead of disagreeing with each other the relevant parties should get round the table and come up with a decisive Brexit strategy...........I honestly think that we are the thin end of the wedge.........many European countries are looking to us to set a president for leaving......but as usual we're more worried about others than ourselves............that may sound harsh but what is it that the air stewardess says when they give you your safety brief......." the oxygen mask will fall in front of you.....put your own on first before you help anyone else.........

Sorry Rich, can't agree with you on holding a second referendum.
Voters to leave despite being told of the horrendous abyss we would fall into still voted to leave! 52% of them.
Not all thick, stupid, no brain, blue collar workers as the remain camp would have us believe.
There could not have been many more catastrophic forecasts spun by the likes of Mark Carney who has now admitted to getting it wrong when he should have remained independent, Osborne, Obama ? why the F*** did he get involved.
Granted, the Brexiteers also did some spinning, but I do not think you would have seen the same tantrums from that side if they had lost the vote.
No, Cameron put his job and his reputation on the line supported by his cronies and they lost big style!
Anyway off to clean the bike now and out for a ride, rant over!
