When they realised that puffball was a load of shite, bunch of fannies falling over and crying.
I'm glad it's on sky and BT, don't have to suffer.

Never before that I can think of, always BBC. Interesting wonder how that came about with the coverage being shared.

Too early in the game to make decisions on how it will go just yet.
France is one of those teams you can never really rule out

Hmm not overly impressed with the England match. Certainly didn't live up to the hype of the last few days.
But well done on the win

BBC and ITV ganged up together in 2015 to joint bid so as to out-do Sky. I think ITV showed some of the matches last season too, but don't quote me.

Going on the way England played they were lucky to beat France. Yet the papers are full of the usual shite.
Unless England up their game you are going to be in for a dizzy.
Scotland again had a fair bit of luck against Ireland and also need to up their game to have a chance. As to a dizzy we kinda expect them to not keep winning as they tend to start well then sit back and coast.
Looking forward to the Wales v Italy game today.
Wales for the tournament in my view as they can't play any worse that those games already played.

I think it's very true. Most Scots & Welsh wouldn't support England if their lives depended on it.
Reason the English press. They really are your worse enemy.
So I don't actually see that as humour, rather a sad observation on a situation brought abought or certainly exacerbated by the English press and the BBC.

My wife is terrible if their is an English football team match on, she supports any team that are playing them and calls the English all sorts of names:eek:,unless they are playing Scotland, i want England to do well, i remember years ago i was watching a Scotland match in a English pub and the majority of the English guys were willing Scotland on:)..unlike if you are in a pub in Scotland and England are playing..maybe it's different nowadays

    This is so true.

Scottish people don't want to see England teams fail, but the constant biased from the BBC, sport TV and print, makes the nation hate them and a by product is this hoping English teams will fail. Just to shut them up. It never does, but it is so insulting, especially on the BBC, which is supposed to represent the four nations, not just English priorities.

So sorry people of England, I don't hate you, I don't want your teams to fail, what I really like is to stick it to all the pundits and reporters in TV and media and that drives this irrational dislike of your national teams.:(

I personally think Jock is offensive. I have been called thinks such as Jock strap in the past and it was meant as an insult.
It's like black people in America and the use of the word nigger. We would consider it offensive yet in rap music it's used extensively by black people to describe themselves.
I would never use the word Jock to describe myself ever.
So I would say it depends on context as well. Some one I know could refer to me as a Jock and it would not be offensive such as the example with rap music.
From some one I don't know I would consider it offensive.
In here it's much more likely to be humour as we do tend to "insult" each other.
That comes down to context again.
As to the 85% not considering it offensive that I would take with a pinch of salt.
