Hi Steve, Your monjuic did it have the full race pipe ? I know they didn't come out with them in OZ , but two members of the Qld Laverda Club sourced them - and feck they were loud then !!!! Cheers capt.
And we successfully derail another thread and end up posting up goats in gimp suits with the Welsh!!! We'll done guys, we are soon good at this. If anybody did actually start discussing bikes, we'd shit a brick
Nope some of us ride all year round. Don't have a car licence. Never been interested enough to sit a test
I was paying £5 board also, and that came out my huge wage packet of £13!!! The young ones nowadays don't know they've been born..i know kids that don't pay any..i charged mine though
Can't remember how much I paid to my parents for rent but certainly it was a far whack. Considering I was getting board and lodgings for that I was more than happy to pay it. Still left me plenty to enjoy my social life and save a bit.
most of my mates were on about £20 at the time,i worked for my old man so that explains the low pay! i was never allowed a bike either and i coudn't afford one and by the time i could girls got in the way and a car was much handier
I think you bumping into them would seriously impact on your wallet Also I think your Dads hand might have bumped across your head a few times
Riding my bike today Riding my bike today, pishing down, puddles had ice in them, even found snow. Unfortunately forgot any form of headgear, so had to improvise!!!! Wet head back in helmet no good, so had to do something when I stopped at the Ford to check depth and have a pee, you know what it's like at our age! running water, gotta pee
Once I've moved back to Scotland will have to get you to show me the good biking spots around that neck of the woods Mr O. Plan is for me to move to Ayrshire in the very near future.
