ok Jez i will PM everybody at a later date for their orders so i can find them easily;),we will have to go with the single price as the pack price and carton price are for block sizes, so unless we are all the same size it's going to have to be the single price

Ok everybody, just buy your own T shirt, sweatshirt, long johns, ankle socks or whatever tickles your fancy and use a felt tip pen and draw/write your own
That should keep the cost down and save Dougie having to buy a shipment of paracetamol

On second thoughts it's frightening what Jez or Wayne's would look like.:p

The cheaper hoodie is light weight, the one you are thinking about is (270gsm) which is the norm..there are heavier ones on the web site but i think the one you have picked would be fine..it's just the t-shirts where a lot of the heavier ones are cheaper (compared to combed cotton t-shirts)

Rich, i don't think a polo shirt would work because of the buttons down the front, the print would have to be lower down on your belly and might look a bit odd! normally the polos are used for a print or embroidery on one side of the chest, i can ask them though and see if they think it would work, they might have some where the buttons don't come down as far

i think the hoodie was going to be on the front and possibly the back it might get a bit complicated if some want them on the front only and some want them on the back only and some want them on the front and the back:confused::eek::eek::eek:
but yes the polo shirt could be printed on the back i guess

Forget the polo. I was just thinking of a subtle 'pocket' logo type thing which I'd wear after the GMU. A t-shirt will only get the one outing.

I've been wearing mine quite a lot during the winter..under my shirt to keep me warm! The grey did look cool last year but wouldn't want the same colour as it would look as if i had 2 t-shirts the same:( i think Jezs suggestion of an army green sounds good but we had better wait and see what the design looks like on the various colours when Sam comes up with the mock ups, and if we can't decide on a colour I'll bite the bullet and decide!;)

I'll submit my ideas, but they're just mine. I have my tastes, mostly influenced by the cafe racer 'culture' and aesthetics, the years I spent in Fashion and my 10 years graphic design experience :)cool:just saying ).

There's a reason I usually never work for associations or large groups or anything. Taking a decision is unpopular. Making a choice for someone else is taking power over him. So these kinds of clientele always end up with one result: Compromise. And compromise is the enemy of quality.

There's simply two ways of going about a teeshirt for this event:

-either it's simply a little item to remember the thing. A funny qwerky design, to remember a good day.
-Or it's a solid piece of design, a tee that will and has been designed to look good.

Obviously I am for the second choice, because Iwhat I am is French-Fashion-Industry-made graphic designer. It's my nature. But that's just me. And I'm not making any decisions here (boy am I glad for that, i'm a terrible boss and a perfectionist :D:D:D )

I say, everyone submit your ideas, Take your pick. there's no need to spend £15 on a tee if it's not meant to be a high end product.

And Yes I used to hate fruits of the loom because their base range is shite. Thin, poorly weaved cotton, poorly cut, prints wash off too easily. If a teesh is poorly made I will simply not wear it. Even if the print is nice.

Anyways.... Once again, that's just me.

Personally I would have liked to see either the same design duplicated (Grey on Grey) or a bit of colour on a white tee...
    I like the colour version....
