I'll try to work on some variations of the initial design in the days/weeks to come.

Cheers Sam:) maybe if you can do the mock up in various colours then we could have a poll on the colour, once we have decided on colour:cool: and if there is at least 25 people interested i will PM everyone for thier details at a later date
If we don't get 25 people there are smaller firms who cater for small orders but the price for printing per t-shirt will be a lot more i.e there is a local guy who prints stuff and he charges £8 per t-shirt for printing:eek::eek: we could still buy the t-shirt from the bigger supplier though and get someone else to do the printing

Don't you guys expect a festival of rainbows, right?

I heard orange, Grey is still a solid competitor in my opinion, any other colours which seem to rally to troops ? Red ?

:D:DIf numbers required to bulk buy, don't see why non-attendees can't buy a shirt, if it keeps the price down. Not like their claiming to be at the Sex pistols gig at Lesser free trade hall !!!!

To be honest, I would stick to your guns, offer 1 design and 1 colour of shirt. Once you start asking people !!! you always end up upsetting someone who didn't get their choice. As mentioned above, grey shows less stains:D

I was just taking the piss asking for orange, sorry. But it would be funny as feck, seeing 20 fat'ish lads wandering around in bright orange t-shirts !!!!:D:D:D

I didn't poll for where the GMU was going to be, made an offer and if you don't like - don't take part. You can't please all the people, all the time, so don't bust yer balls trying !!!

i came across this mock up Sam did of the t-shirts in black or white it gives a clearer picture of the design for those that havn't seen it:) yes i hear what your'e saying Ron and i did think about just chosing a colour myself but as we have plenty time i thought it woudn't harm to see what all the guys think, and once Sam does some mock up pics we could have a poll and we will just go with the winner. Right all getting my head back together now after the doctors prescribed cocktails

One of the clubs I'm a member of is the aircooled rd club, remember the ring-a-ding ding:), anyway we hold a rally each year and have T shirts printed on fruit of the loom T's. These T's are excellent quality and have lasted years.
Each year the design and colour changes and quite often it's open to any forum member who wishes to have a go at designing.
We get some unusual, often good imaginative designs, some crazy, some cool.
A poll is used to choose the design, if people don't like the design they usually end up buying one anyway:rolleyes:
Ok this forum is a lot smaller and so is the GMU, but if anyone has an ideas let's see them.
I believe there's lots of design tools on the tinternet to help.

    Just a thought.

i was going to use Friut of the loom last year... untill i was persuaded otherwise by someone because they are not a trendy fit:rolleyes:.. Sam where are you! i agree though something like fruit of the loom would be perfect and even there best quality T-shirt is cheap as chips,it would be less than £6.00 printed!

Yes I know SammyF has offered to submit some designs, but there just maybe a forum member or two who would also like to have a go at designing but doesn't want to step on anyone's toes.
If you don't ask you don't get ;)

not sure if you meant print on the front and the back, as it's about £1.00 per t-shirt for printing it would probably be another £1.00 if we wanted the back printed too, like the olive green..i can just see Sams face if we say we are going with Fruit of the loom or similar:eek::eek::eek:

+1 on Fruit of the Loom, have a few of those, always seemed decent enough to me. Fit OK, but I am not really fashionably cut myself at 6'2" and 17st !!!!

FORUM NAMES ON THE BACK !!!!!

    Ok I'll start.
One of my favourite aircooled RD T's is below.

I was thinking possibly something along these lines.
Obviously delete the wording for our own and alter the bike obviously, possibly a classic Bonneville, front wheel in the air, the choice is vast.

Shoot me now but give me a head start :(

My Tuppence worth says I'm ok with Sams design Front, Dougie's Fruit of the Loom Tshirts, and if anything is needed on the rear then maybe Triumph

    SAMS DESIGN
2nd Grand Forum Meet - on front

    TRIUMPH
    across the full top back

BLACK - is my favourite t-shirt Colour.
    with white lettering

    In a very BIG size - :eek::eek:

The money saved on Fruit of the loom T's which I also agree are good quality will cover cost of extra rear printing.

I'm OK with Fruit of the Loom - got a couple of old ones that have out lasted anything else so far!
Different colour would be good - I'm happy with olive drab.
Like the idea of something on the back - maybe just "Triumph" :D
