Thruxton Throttle bodies corrosion

Still think it should be a warranty issue

 

My dealer told me on Saturday that my claim ( from October ) for the shocks has been agreed but the new shocks won't be available until mid Feb at the earliest...watch this space

 

Well at least it's progressing in the right direction

 

My new shocks are on all be it I had to send it back after the delivery it,spot what's wrong?

I know they dropped it off I was out went into the shed that night to polish her and noticed straight away

 

I know it's not how they are on any of them but Does it matter? Someone had their tecs like that!

 

Please, please tell me a dealer didn't put them on and dropped it back to you like that........

I've just rang my dealer and mine aren't coming in now until 3/3

 

I guess the £7.20 per hour bloke did that .

 

I believe the performance of the shocker is not affected, they just look cosmetically wrong, anyone who knows owt about bikes will be quick to tell you they are the wrong way round.
Leave them if you like a bit of attention.

Yeah the dropped it off sat like that picked it up Monday morning after a nice polite phone call to them and back Monday fitted the correct way,yeah it don't make a difference but looked very very wrong

 

How easy it to change them yourself ? Was thinking a 10 minute job to change one at a time ? You don't need to support the back end.......do you ?

 

Nah simple job if I would of had a extra shock but would of needed to take both out at the same time to do it or you would of seen the triumph ohlins triumph sticker
