I'd like some proof of authenticity, carbon dating maybe?

 

In the mid 80's a friend of mine had a restoration business and I often helped out, any thing from 2 stroke bubble cars to 1920's Rolls Royces, he bought a Vinny that was in a bad way being left in a shed for years, he only went round to look at an old side car he wanted and that was attached!
What luck, re-built the side car for another bike and months later the Vincent Black Shadow was ready too, he rode it from Southend to Dover docks with me on the back to ship it to Belgium, I've never had such a rough, bumpy and uncomfortable ride on any thing in my life!!! (Barring an ex but that's another story!)
Bloody glad to have got off the thing, but really enjoyed the time helping to restore it though, surprising how easy it was then to get new parts for it too.
Admitted it was not as bad a condition as that one though!
