    Hi,

I'm considering replacing the standard rear light and indicators. I don't want something dangerously small, just nicer than the standard clunky set up. I also can't do anything electrical, so just want a plug and play kit. I've seen something from squaredeals that has a lucas type rear light and 4 indicators for around £120. Does anyone have one of these kits on their bike, any feedback on quality, etc.?

    Thanks

I bought this for my thruxton, its the led one but comes with indicator brackets and a plug and play loom

I had the normal lucas style tail light but it proved to be a bit flimsy.

The indicators are these They look good but the finish quality isnt great, the chrome is peeling and I keep blowing a bulb in one for some reason,, might be water ingress not sure. I have been kinda happy with them but now would prefer ones where the lenses stick out more so they can be seen blinking from the side and the bulbs are cheaper

you will probably have to get the plug and play wires for your front indicators

    Thanks,
They look nice in the photo. The kit I was looking at has the rear indicators located very close to either side of the tail light.

Those blue Thruxtons are rare, very nice colour.

Having seen the ones your going for I dont think you'll need the wiring harness for the front indicators

I have the Lucas-style rear light on my '07 T100. Fitting it was a slight fiddle and I used some rubber tube to hide the bolts - I used some old fuel line with one end cut at an angle to match the contour of the mudguard. Hardly noticeable in practice.

I replaced the standard reflector and bulb with an LED lamp. This required some small mods to the rear lamp as the mounting holes didn't line up.

My rear indicators are small custom bullets in matt black and are mounted just to the rear of the suspension unit top bolts. A much tidier look.
