Well first service is Thursday so only 150 more miles needed to clear the 500 and 2 days left to get them - well it was 2 days until work called and asked me to attend a meeting in Aberdeen tomorrow! So - about to pull my gear on and head out - thinking Abersoch via Bala - long time since I've been out that way though - and been spoilt by TomTom for too long in the car - so maybe I'll end up somewhere else! So if anyone gets this in the next half hour give me a shout for a meet up! bb
Abersoch via bala is a good run, head back through caple curig, betws y coed way some good roads up there too. Just sat in the office - Jealous now!!
Sounds great - feel another big spend coming on though... Bike Satnav - and then I'll need a bluetooth intercom to connect to...
Part 1 completed fitted 19t sproket to the speedmaster a bit of an epic battle took place socket and a 6ft bar still couldn't shift so a quick trip to the local garage and the airgun sorted it out now got to ride it and see the differance trip to 3x motorcycles and pic up the bolts to fit the dresser bars
Chester - Corwen - Bala - Portmadoc - Abersoch - Aberdaron - Caernarfon - Llanberis - Capel Curig - Betws y Coed - Corwen - Chester 222 miles (Total now 552) 5 1/2 hrs - tank and a half of gas - a gazillion flies - and 1 pheasant! Not exactly the route I planned - wasn't expecting Caernarfon - but that's Spanky's fault  Coastguard station above Aberdaron beach: Beside the lake at Llanberis: Beside the river at Betws y Coed: Ran both cameras till batteries gave out so over 2 hours video on each. Not had any success as yet uploading video direct from file to YouTube but it's 'optimizing at the moment and when that's doe I'll select some clips and try and post. bb
Good run BB, there are worse places to ride to than carnarfon! Good pics I didn't think the weather was that good today
Nice ride bb I like that area, let us know if your going again. A tail tidy would look nice on your bike, love that colour.
Heard about 'tail tidies' not sure yet what they are - need to check that out - wouldn't want to lose the camera mounting position though...
Messing with video takes so much time!!! :frown: Anyway - here's a few minutes of Tuesday's outing: Aberdaron June 13 - YouTube Camera: Drift Ghost with Drift Ghost mic. Mounted helmet and tail. Settings: 1080 res; 30 fps; 170 deg; Mic sensitivity 2 Only spoke a couple of times but quite pleased with the audio on setting 2 after getting very slight distortion on setting 3. bb
Nice vid, good roads and scenery. I must admit that when I first started to hear about cameras on bikes, I thought it was a dum idea. The more you guys put vids on the forum, the more I like them. Gives a much better picture of a biking holiday, than the odd snapshot whenever the bike is parked...
