so had I lol, been gone since 18th June, still awaiting a Tank they reckon its gonna be end of September

 

just been reading back through the post Matt, After my accident in June , I was at first hoping that they would write her off and id take a break again. Not having this option and having her repaired has given me time to reflect and I now know that after my first ride this week since June ( on a loan Honda !!) I very much would have regretting her being written off as I know I would have just started again.

2 ride outs this week and my confidence is back and the need to have the triumph back is very strong.

if you can wait it out I think you will be thankful the day you finally get back on her. Anyway hope your getting well sir

I hope you get yours back soon!!! Expecting my license back next March...fingers crossed! Poor old scampi is just sat in the garage at the moment!

 

I tend not to ride much over the winter , as I hate the cold wet weather in not a fan of all the salt etc , so I tend to ACF50 prep her and when I feel desperate , just go and stare at her with a brew and decide what I wan to change next

the real mission is getting it past the wife's approval , see there is always something challenging to keep you going

before you know it March will be here.

 

Arrived today. I'll gt some miles on it before winter.

Looks great with the arrow exhaust and solo seat, I've also got the solo seat on my scrambler it was a bit of a pig to fit and I find the cushioning is a bit firm but I'm happy to ignore it just for the look.

 

Hi half ton hope you are well. It was the plastic lug at the front of the seat which caused the problem it was a real sod to get it in place but hasn't been a problem since. However the other half has decided she would like to ride pillion so I will have to change it back again anyway.

 

Yeah sounds exactly the same as mine. I was thinking the same we will have to meet up for a ride around at some point.
