kin el Dozer thats a lot of screwdrivers. My tools are here there and everywhere cos that`s how I find them after the kids have been messing/using them, it is funny how we teach kids plenty of things but the main one they forget is put stuff back where you found it. God forbid you touch anything of theirs and never put it back. Armageddon will soon follow.

Just to make it clear..............ALDI have the Hex key sets today, NOT Lidl.

 

Got my set, not bad for the money, just rigorously tested them and stood up well, good value for the money!
Got home then realized they did the Torqus ones as well, so may go back for them so I have the set, and dump all the ods and sods I've got so keeping to these and the Halfords set.
OOOOOOH, Coops, whats this, getting tidy in your old age??

 

Got the Torques as well, they all have the hole in for tamper resistant screws in the short end.

 

Torx: 8 piece range from T10 to T50, in a double open sided case, 4 each side.
Hex key set: 8 piece range from 2.0mm to 10.mm all ball end on the long blade, straight on the short handle blade, in the same style case as Torx.
I think they are all bent 90 deg. in the moulded handles so they wont twist loose.
Would have preffered a blown case, but for the money they are pretty good value I think.

Anyone got experience with their jump packs? Either Lidl or Aldi.
I've heard they're decent, but maybe they won't pop up again in the future?

I bought a jump pack from Aldi last year, it has a compressor to blow up tyres etc, a charger for usb and a small LED torch. Excellent bit of kit, strong and well made unlike the Chinese one I had previously from a local warehouse that lasted a few months. Think I paid about £50 for the Aldi one and they do come up again occasionally.

 

That sounds perfect! Compressor is always handy too.
Will definitely keep my eye out, and £50 is more than reasonable.

 

Keep an eye out for the air hose reel too, good quality and so convenient to be able to use the air line anywhere if like me you permanently mount the compressor out of the way.
