Fitted a £2,50 plug on my optimate lead and plugged it into the accessories socket. It's now pushing a massive 0.01A into the battery, so I guess it holds a charge pretty well. I'm thinking of getting a bike lift thingy. It'll make cleaning easier and I might do a bit on my lads cx500 bobber project if I can get it set up at a nice height. Andy
Hello chaps.... Sorry not be on much. W**k has been a tad busy and being doing a few extra hours. had to order a new battery as the old one was starting to give up especially on the cold mornings and that was after being on charge all night!! New Motobatt AGM installed and the old gal is starting well again. Looked at Lithium batteries but opted for the AGM as i didn't want to buy another charger for lithium battery as I only bought this charger two months ago. Need to get some warmer gloves too!!!
ps... It turns out that my sons friends dad is the owner of our local Triumph dealer....... I can see some test rides being booked haha
Hi Steve, I just bought new Lithium battery, they don't all need a different charger, as they can be built to accept and work with normal battery chargers !! Look at my post in what you been doing with your triumph today. Look on previous page 210!!
Emergency appointment on the 23rd?/ WTF? FFS get yourself off to A&E chiari, you don`t have to suffer mate.
Much the same for me pulled sheets of thunderbird and gave her a good going over with Mr sheen, works pretty good, old guy gave me the top and it saves using aerosol all the time.Didn't go out as it was feckin pissin down.
Not doing a thing today, it`s like minus 5 outside at the mo. SWMBO wants to change her car, I suggested a new T120 would look nice in the garage, I could tell she wasn`t impressed, you know when you get THAT look. So I guess today will be full of fun and enjoyment traipsing around car dealers, oh deep joy , nothing more boring.
Not done owt due to the cold and wet, but just returned from Spain after spending a very long three days riding Yamaha trail bikes up thru the mountains. Went with a company called Toro Trail. Absolutely fantastic experience but aching like I've never ached in places I'd only ever read about. Recommended!!! Bob
