.......and now I have the finger dexterity for either neuro-surgery or gynaecology!.....for such a simple bracket it was damned fiddly.....having big hands was definitely a disadvantage....but it's a great bit of kit once it's fitted for carrying your U lock....certainly better than carrying it in a rucksack or waist bag and the fact it's low down and in a central position is great for keeping the weight centralised..........but the bestest perk of all is that your lock is lovely and warm on a cold day when you gotta lock your bike up!

    Neat!
The only drawback I can think of -mainly 'cos it's what I would do - is going to collect the lock on the bike, rushing home to fit it and burning me hands on the hot engine!
This is the level of incompetence I have to deal with on a daily basis!:(

Hi Steve the goodie......easy solution.....have a second lock waiting at home, leave that one on the bike ready for work the next day, cheers, dickydido

Hi Dozers Dad,.......this bracket is Triumph Pt. No: A9818005, only £20,......and,......we're 'ard type Thruxton riders ain't we?.....we laugh at pain and piddly little burns......and any scratch's can be put down as a bit of 'character' surely!, cheers, dickydido

Ive got a helmet lock on the frame behind the shock ,under the seat. Trouble is, my hat hasn't got much to hang on ,I must add a D ring or somert.

Hi Crispey, only fitted it this morning, weather was very cold but dry when I started but it was raining hard by the finish.......then, because of the hard frost last night the council lads had been out liberally salting so sadly bike went back into the garage un-ridden.....bugger!

.......but my U lock is a very snug, slide fit into the bracket rings so I will be amazed if it rattles at all.

    Cheers, dickydido

This is far too clever for me.
Plus the fact that I'd have to buy two of the offending articles instead of just one. Remember, please, I am a Yorkshireman and spending money can often be deemed offensive!!:p
