Do they fold in when you clip things, like car mirrors?

They're attached on a ball-joint, so they will pivot if you clip something

    Hi Steve,
Could you tell me where you got your fork gaiters from.
I am planning to fit some at the same time as fitting some progressive springs to my 2012 cast wheel Bonnie.

    Regards,
    Mick

Thanks for the prompt replies Bikerman and Steve.
Can't say I particularly like the look of the plastic stone guards, they have to go!
I just wanted to make sure that I got good quality gaiters that don't perish or split.
I would rather pay a few extra quid than fit shite but don't want to get ripped off either.

Does the fly screen work Steve?

I agree - I never liked the look of the stone guards and I fitted fork gaiters to my T100 as one of the first jobs. These seem a good quality, the rubber feels quite thick but supple so they should be OK.

Yes mate - it is slightly lower than the Dart flyscreen I had on the T100 but it still takes most of the wind impact off your chest so that riding along at motorway speeds is a bit more relaxing. I also like the fact it bolts directly to the headlamp and the regulator below so that there is no movement in it.

Went on e-bay last night and hey presto!
One set of new boxed OEM gaiters for £30 incl. P&P. Well chuffed!
Plan is to fit them next Saturday when I fit the new Hagon progressive springs along with new fork oil.
