Thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone favourite and least favourite bit of technology is?

Best. The IPOD The one I have holds 80GB (1 gb = approx. 300 songs!) 24,000 songs on something smaller than most modern mobiles :).. To think I used to think it was cool having a portable cassette player

Worst. The Internet although it has its good points ie this forum! I just hate how everything is online now

yep you have a point there  although once you have them all loaded onto it it doesn't need to see the internet ever again :)

I hate all Apple products and the companies fascist policies. My Ipod shuffle had 100's of my tunes on it, my laptop went kaput, now Ipod won't let me get MY tunes off of it and back on new laptop !!!! Would have to sit and load all albums from CD back onto new laptop (which I had to). My tunes off of my CD's but I can't have them back after storing them on 'THEIR' little hard drive !!!! FFS!:(

    Best: - Android smartphones.

How did I live without it ? It's my phone, my camera, my diary, my games machine, sat-nav, clock, weather predictor, plays music, plays films, talk to pals on forums, my bank balance, book hotels, check in for flights, store all my passwords, do stress calculations on framework, record sounds, record archery scores and help adjust my sights....................

People can be obsessive with them, but they are still fantastic pieces of equipment, for not a lot of money considering.

I don't agree with all this anti apple stuff. Warm apple pie with cream is heavenly. Cider aint bad either and I've just had two lovely apples for my dinner out of the bag of shiny red apples given to us by the bloke in the house behind ours who grows them.

I love Apple products, we have two iPods, iPads, iPhones and an iMac. They all talk to each other and are unhackable and don't get viruses.

All my data (photos, music, spreadsheets, PDFs, text documents etc) is stored on iCloud. So if I loose or break a device then just connect a new one to my account and it's all back. I also manage all my home accounts on line, phone, Gas, electric, bank, investments etc.

    I love the internet.

If I get a device stolen I can remove the data remotely and even find it using Find my device.

Ok you pay a lot for this level of intergration and security, but it's worth it. Having lived with Windows from V1 to V9 I'm not disappointed to see it go.

I had Android for a while but it was a cheap one and didn't work very well.
Now got an i phone, manly because most of my music is on i tunes, but the main reason was because both of my kid's have them so at least 2 people in the house know how ot make it work.

    Best- Google maps,route planning,street view,it's great for planning holidays,ride out's etc.
Worst-CCTV not sure wee need it at it's currant level.

HaHa I used to think exactly the same until I tried some, took a while to get used to them but now I wear them instead of slippers indoors, great to use in campsite shower rooms too.
(not sure about the white socks though  )

I assume you meant the top of the best list, not top of the worst list.
Couldnt do my job without it,good old tomtom, got it on my fone as well for back up.

The best for me, well so many but the internet and google ( where did we get answers before??) is right up there.

The worst, itunes and anything else Apple related. Great stuff dont get me wrong, excellent ideas and forward thinking, microsoft please note but why the F*** does everything get tied to itunes. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Had so many problems in the past with a bloody ipod, losing all my library loads of times. Music I, yes I, have bought from them but cannot use on a new pc as I have used it on other machines previously.
Had to use Apple in the past as I was in the printing industry which tends to use Macs in the graphics dept but soooooo glad to be away from them now
