So! after many months of agonizing(about 24 TBH) I've finally settled on a new bike.
It's not brand new but about 12 months old. Got a cracking trade in for the Speedy.
Picking it up next weekend :D
I haven't told you what it is yet on purpose :p;)

Nothing wrong with MZ and CZ; I had a MZ 50cc moped back in 1980, bought it from my cousin for £150, 1 year old, sold it for £150 12 months later, great little bike. I then had a CZ 250, passed my test and was still at school. The CZ was a great bike as well, never had any problems and easy to service yourself

I knew someone who had one,it was rubbish.
    Still makes me laugh.
Look out Ade,we've been rumbled ;)

It was a hard decision to leave Triumph after 8 years and 3 bikes. But apart from the Explorer(tried one but couldn't get on with it) there was nothing in the range to suit my needs.
Don't want to spend all my time with one make or style of bike.

Hey its your choice. beamers, hondas, suzis kawas, they are all great bikes. Sanglas, well fuck me backwards someone old like me, now they were never good bikes.
then there is the H word, now they are pure crap.lol
Only thing for me is there are too many of the Deutscher meister bikes about these days, some of us like to be different but whatever, enjoy the ride ( andf i am sure you will) and dont forget to giss a wave, lol

That is a monster !!!! Is it a GS Adventure? Big fuel tank etc? You'll be able to do 500kms between stops easily !!!!

That's a big change from your Speedy so how does it feel? There looks to be a lot of it high up.

It's a massive change from the Speed,Adventure with all the bells and whistles (it's not a new one) and a 300 mile tank range. I was surprised,it's a heavy beast until about 2 mph when it all disappears.

Very nice bike. I went from a 2011 R1200GS to the Speedy. May well return to one next year! How old is it and what kind of price was it?
