Hello People

Managed to get everything completed on my Pride & Joy. I rode her to work today. The weather is great. I couldn't help playing with that throttle . The sound, the torque....sheer pleasure . This is the 1st ride with my new tyres on and I am a little cautious with them. I need to scrub them in before going mental. Here we go....

The mirrors are 3pistons. They are slightly bluey in colour. They seem to do the job ;-). I'm only 5'6 n I don't need to tuck my elbows to see it. I guess being short has it's advantages ; -)....so I'd like to think ;-)

They are M7RRs. 3 Pistons Mirrors. I have used the M7RRs on my previous bike Gixxer K6 1000 and they are brilliant. Hence I decided to go for these again . I will give a feedback once scrubbed in

 

I love this bike. I booked some toil in for today, so I can get out an hour early 16:30 for a good blast .

It makes feel better I am not the only shortarse around ;-)

 

Thank you all for your kind compliments. I went for a nice blast today out in the countryside. I have ridden a lot of rocket ships pushing close to 170 BHP at the rear wheel. But this S3 is something. I genuinely enjoyed every second of it. She had a lot of character that makes you grin. The tires were really good. The handling was spot on. Overtakes were pure rush. The brakes are sharp in a good way. I had a little trouble changing gears. Pulled over n did a little adjustment then the shifts was perfect . I was trying to find something that I didn't like but for the life of me I couldn't point my finger at anything. Ok maybe she is tall for me and sitting on the bike n moving her is a little tricky. But at the same time I'm comfortable n i will adapt because she is absolutely worth it. I was talking to her keeping a decent pace n getting very attached to her.

After my TLS days I always missed something on all the sports bike I have owned. And today I felt thoroughly content. I am so glad I chose the S3 or who knows. ...it might even be the other way around; -). And ofcourse finding this forum n knowing you guys is a priceless bonus.

The last couple weeks I put my heart and soul into modding her. I know the mods are only bling bling. Then again this is the 1st bike I felt didn't need any performance mods.

I sincerely thank each and every one of you for helping me choose the bike n all the good advice given to me during troubled times. I look at my bike n I'm very proud of her and you guys have a big part in it. You guys helped me choose the right things.
