So much to do, If I only had Time . sing along Started to sort out the Coolent leak behind the Head. im trying to do it without that painfull carb off hassle. spent nearly an hour getting the screw undone behind the head.but anyway its done. Looks like a gasket failed. No other reason can be seen. Then got called away. Grrrrr. New pads for rear brake arrived. So started to take the old Disc pads out and got called away grrrrr again. I have my kids tonight after work and have some domestic Stuff to do on Wednesday and a meeting Thursday eve. All I need is some Time!!!!
Managed to get out on Tracey yesterday, first time in over a week, it was to celebrate her new MOT, did a bit of tracking on myrouteapp, took some nice leisurely roads over 1.5 hours. ended up at Loomies, well there's a surprise. saw my first thruxton r on the road going past all black and fairinged up. did the same on the way back, Fine afternoon ride
Still updating the bloody software on the Garmin oh the joy of living in the sticks, only another 10hours to go
I have to wake the Sun up He's liable to sleep all day And then inspect the rainbows So they'll be bright and gay I must rehearse the songbirds To see that they sing in key Hustle, bustle And never a moment free... Me, being busy. On the way to work this morning.
Cleaned off the rear caliper... and I noticed that one of the pins wasnt holding the thread so I replaced it with thread lock and when I got home I checked it web and found, Triumph parts want almost 500 pounds http://www.triumphparts.gbr.cc/ want 165 and there site is not working at the mo. ebay is full of old knackered examples for 100. finally settled on one from Lithuania, 40, and the pins are out so cant be seized does nt arrive for 3 weeks. To make a short story long
Feck that's expensive! ! . Your better off sorting it out though.. At least you can keep an eye on it now that you know. Just goes to show how important it is to give your bike the once over
