And treating the queen to a nice present by the look of it? Well done sir.

Anyway, I'm 50. Dec '65, so 51 soon. Doesn't seem two minutes since I was fixing lolly pop sticks to my Raleigh choppers rear wheel so it sounded like a motorbike.

I like a nice bus pass!:)
Sadly you have to pay for a 'senior' railcard:(, although many local authorities will offer a few pounds subsidy:). Can soon make the cost back with a 30% discount on ticket prices.

63 next month, don't get my state pension till I'm 65 and three effin quarters !
The effin robbin b'stards, hope they all rot in hell !!!!!!! the load of effin gob shites in parliament deserve to get skinned alive (slowly), have their nuts filed off with a cheese grate, toe nails and finger nails pulled off and then made to go and work for sportsdirect.com on a zero hours contract. That's just the men of course although one or two of the women may have nuts too.

Yep really unfair the way they have calculated the changes. My wife does not get her pension until 16 days before her 65th birthday. Her mate is six month older than her and has got her pension already. Makes you wonder what smart civil servant came up with this plan and approach.

She was born in December 1953. Yep they made a change mid flight of the implementation to align women and men's pension payment dates. Much noise and complaints raised in the media and in Westminster but the goverment have not budged on the approach and the impact that it has had on hugh numbers of women and men. It is all about how much money they can save.

Yep and they will raid your savings with the changes to the care system they are planning are implemented. Best approach is if you have any savings either spend them or give it to your kids or do a bit of both.
