Just remembered another 60+ advantage, free bowel cancer check.

The 60+ members will know what I'm on about.
For those the don't, this is the basics, your sent a kit from the nhs and basically you sh1t in your hand take a small sample off said pile, I use my finger nail and place the sample onto the card provided
Send sample card away for analysis.
Easy peasy you get your results in a couple of weeks.

Note: Always make sure your finger nails are clean prior to taking sample off the pile as you don't want to contaminate the sample:p

I tried this and nearly broke me wrist!!
And I thought those card board bits were matches, no wonder they wouldn't light!

Due my next BC test sometime soon, I find best way to sh1t in the bath and pick out the bits for the little windows. Just a bit of bugger squeezing it down the plughole later, specially if it's a bit of a lumpy one!:)

I must say that this thread has turned into a really interesting one

It's most interesting to read how different methods are used by fellow mature forum members to obtain their BC samples

Made in 1953, produced in 1954 so 62 now.
Didn't do the BC sample as I'd just had a camera up the jacksie and two polyps removed after producing bloody logs and getting bad pains. Since had camera up the arse again in May last year to check still clear. Next camera due in three years and nine months. Really looking forward to that.
