2015 speed triple 94R I am really suffering with numb fingers/hand what can be done as its quiet bad can't feel a great deal not good when you can't feel the brake lever, I have changed the bar ends to add so weight I tried some foam covers that go over standard grips didn't like them as gave no feel on the throttle and it didn't help with numbness.
I have a Daytona 675R and don't suffer with this numbness, when riding the speed triple it doesn't feel like there's any vibration, I have been riding for 30 yrs and have not suffered with this before, I don't grip the grips hard and grip the tank with my knees.

If it was slight numbness I would just put up with it but this is not something I can put up with and it could be dangerous not being able to feel throttle/ brake lever.

Are you getting the numbness during a long run? i have found if i'm riding on a motorway for a long period i get numb fingers on the speed triple, i usually wear summer gloves so maybe a more padded glove would help

It happens after about 10 minutes on the bike, I wear Knox Handroids but again there's no problem on the Daytona which that's the bike that you would think would cause problems, being upright didn't think this would happen

As it's only one side I'd suggest it's possibly more a grip issue than vibration, which would affect both hands.
The same sort of thing came up on the Street forum a few years ago.I think the general consensus was that the throttle was so sensitive that people were gripping it to tightly.Though I don't thing the Speedy has a particularly sensitive throttle.
    Maybe bar risers might help?

I think you'll find the bar risers are rubber bush mounted to the top yoke. Give them a check over, I've not dismantled so not sure whether there's a shoulder on the posts, may be over or under tightened?

Used to get that on my ZX10, apparently it was a caricaturist of the bike.
Not that this information help you.

Gary, i suffered the same after about 10 mins riding my Speedy so put SW Motech risers on my speedy-i went for the taller of the two height options and it really helped. There's enough slack in cables to do this without any dramas

Not suffered from vibration. But I lifted my bars up with 19mm spacers and it has vastly improved riding comfort. Best mod for less than a tenner.

Your obviously trapping squashing a nerve. I sometimes get it on my left hand then I just lift my grip away and ride with my wrist just resting on the bars till the sensation goes away for a minute then back on. The answer is higher bars with less weight on them.

I too am suffering some throttle hand numbness. My speedy is a 2016 S so could a member tell me which diameter bars I have, please? Looking at the sw motech risers and need this information to order them.
    Thanks all,

    Chris

If you've got adjustable cuffs on the glove and or your jacket you could try slackening them off a bit, I sometimes get a bit of numbness if the glove is too tight.

Gary, you may find if your arms are quite straight on the Speedy which is aggravated when throttling then places your wrist in an uncomfortable position compared to your Daytona. I have an old Gpz900 which i don't have any problems with numbness despite the lower riding position but my arms are not so straight on this. Try moving the bars as well in the current set up to see if delays or increases numbness on set?

In no way would I condone this whilst out riding and if you do, I take no responsibility for any criminal record received. But they do say that if you carry out a 5 finger shuffle (4 fingers and 1 thumb for the pedantic ones) with a numb hand feels like someone else is doing for you ;)

I had the same problem with my 16 and moved the bars back, worse. Moved them forward and far better :)
