Just dropped the Tiger off for it's 6000 mile service ahead of the Buxton trip next week. Missed out on a T120 courtesy bike (dammit!) but got a new Tiger Sport instead.
Fully intended to go down to Brands for BSB practice day, but decided instead to get myself lost in the backroads of Herts and Essex - virtually empty roads, sun shining etc. - did 75 very enjoyable miles. Definitely what the T120 was made for !
No rain and quick blast round our local roads just brings a smile to my fizzogg. I really hope Summer starts soon
I've been stripping a 1200 trophy engine. its all in a million tiny bits. Beautiful thing to look at the internals of a well made engine.
This weekend I will mostly be staring at my bike and not riding. I've pulled some muscles in my lower back. Been to the docs and have been given a melody of meds.... this means that I can't ride Saying that though with this melody of med I can fly to the moon!!!! My son is currently trying to scrap me off the ceiling so I can get breakfast ready
Getting ready for a long trip so it's check tyres, clean chain, get some clothes ready, chuck in a toothbrush and wallet and I'm ready to go. Setting off for the UK tomorrow.
Prepping for France trip at the end of the month. Fitted Grip Puppies, Navihalter GPS mount, Oil and radiator protectors and washed the Tiger Sport today. Just got to fit front and rear fenda extenda's and drop the front end down a bit to match the 25mm rear drop a bit better. then she's ready Nearly forgot, fitted a louder horn, far better than the sparrow fart one Triumph fit as standard,
Spent this afternoon cleaning the bike. Going to see what sort of price I can get as a trade in and it needs to be clean for Tuesday's Grand Meet Up
Levels checked, bike packed and just about to have a bite to eat, then I'm headed north - Yip yip yip !!!!!!
Not to bad,a bit over book price,so yes I'm happy................but I'm skint so might have to wait until March
Got Doris out to give her the once over and found she was missing a seat bolt! Probs didn't screw it up enough, anyway had to ride down to lilly's to get a replacement. ridng well, route app is working so jobs a good'un, should get to the pub on the right day!!
