Featured What you been doing with your TRIUMPH today??

Went for a ride out today, primarily to properly evaluate the recent re mapping of the STRS765. I left home at 10am, headed to Milnthorpe, then the Lyth Valley, quick stop at Bowness, then onto Kirkstone Pass, then dropped down the struggle into Ambleside, onto Grasmere, then over Dunmail Raise, and onto Keswick, from there I headed to Kirkby Lonsdale with a quick stop off at Devils Bridge, then onto Ingleton, from there to Ribblehead, then took that wonderful road to Settle, after a quick bite to eat it was onto High Bentham to Low Bentham, then Wennington and onto Wray, from there to Caton and headed back home arriving at 7pm. The transformation in the bike is like night and day, it has exceeded my expectations, the throttle response low down is pure heaven, very smooth, I deliberately tried it in 6th gear at 20mph, and not a single judder or hesitation, it was silky smooth, the acceleration has noticeably improved, the mid range has more torque with no need to change down, in 6th gear you can wind it on and instantly it is up where you want it. Out of all the mods and extras this is by far the best money I have spent. Woolwich Racing perfected this map, and all credit to them as it is simply fantastic. Ride safe all from an ageing Rocker.

Hi Bikerman, it is yes, not that often it all works out, but great when it does as you say.

 

It was a lovely day out thanks, joined by my son on his Katana, my other son was at work so unable to join us, his Panigale is in my garage awaiting some work.
