Been riding many years and had quite a few bikes, the latest a Street Triple 675 2016. Joined this forum because the other forum i joined seems dead and no one answers questions. Anyways, good to be here. Cheers Sean
@SeanR Welcome to the family. You are in the right place now. Here the patrons like to talk and help each other out. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show us all your bike.
Greetings, @SeanR, and welcome to the forum! We'd love to see a photo or two of your current Street Triple. There are lots of folks here on this forum who are very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions. That's how I got connected to this forum in the first place! I bought a 2019 Speed Triple RS and had lots of questions. Then I learned there's lots more to be learned and discussed and shared here than just questions about my bike. It's a lovely community. Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks everyone, appreciated. Ive been out of the bike scene for several years, sadly lost all my no claims insurance bonus in the process, so went for a 675, id read they are good bikes. Insurance isn't too bad, £500, though i am in my 50s! Pity i never kept a bike to keep the insurance going. Insurance firms used to take old renewals into account but that done seem the case these days. I like the bike, nippy enough, though do miss the old V twin Tuono i used to have, though that didnt have ABS like the Street triple. Like the riding position, comfy enough on long rides, the days of sport bikes have long gone for me. Though would be ok for short runs. The bike is below in a vid, Bought it from MCO in Wigan, the vid still on youtube. The only thing i have done is remove the fly screen, though time will tell if decide it was a better ride with it. Just prefer the look and feel. Reluctant to mention the other street triple website. I will just say it is extremely quiet. Maybe its me repeating questions that there are answers to, as is what can happen on forums. Will add some pics
I did put a link in to the sales advert of the bike on Youtube, though maybe not allowed as its a business. Anyways, pics above
