Thanks, @Helmut Visor! I looked at those levers and they’re beautiful. Unfortunately, the bike I am looking for levers for is my ‘23 Harley Lowrider, ST and when I plugged that into the bike finder on the website you shared, they don’t show up as available for that model. The stock levers on my Speed Triple have actually worked out really well for me with ease of pull as well as reach (they are adjustable). Perhaps I’ll inquire with Raximo directly and asking them whether they make them for my bike. I certainly do appreciate the information… Thanks!

Not stamped Triumph, nor any logo. Not sure how they come to have street cup on them but for 30GBP from Ebay, I couldn't resist! Fully adjustable though.

Well... it was a beautiful day yesterday in Middle Tennessee (US). So, it was time for about an hour of fun on the Speed Twin. Glorious!

Yes, we've enjoyed gorgeous weather the last few days in the southeast USA! Taking advantage of it before we go back to cooler and wet days of early spring.

Worked outside on partial yard overhaul Monday (work before play)

but took off for rides on Tuesday and Wednesday. Don't need a destination to have a great ride but when there's a fabulous ice cream stop that just makes it even better.

We stopped for homemade ice cream at a favorite creamery that never fails to please and ran into another riding friend there enjoying ice cream also.

Hard to choose from the array of great choices but I had my favorite butter pecan.

Quick stop in another small town still showing decorations from Christmas on the way home, riding past huge antebellum houses (some restored, some needing restoration) and rolling hills dotted with cattle and over rivers with rocky shoals. Safe stopping places for pics are hard to find, sorry!

    Thankful for safe riding days.

Well, I was going to dust out the STRS and go for a ride today. But it's just too cold and grey out there, :(even here in god's own county, so I haven't. I've lit the woodburner in the Lounge instead and I'm keeping that warm. Lol The End.

Same here, was hopeful because no rain forecast, but due to heavy frost overnight and still tons of salt down,it's not worth chancing it.Decided it was better to have patience, uncover and put on charge,Guy passed me in Barrhead yesterday on a red one as I was walking home, far braver than me

A bit of a charging issue on the 675 st the last few weeks so today was the day to sort it out.
New parts ordered and the strip down began.....

    20250208_132718.jpg

Umm the wire retainer bracket doesn't look right and appears to be parked in the wrong spot.
Note the machining marks from contact with the rotor.

The reason for the failing of the charging circuit was quite obvious once the bracket was removed.

    20250208_133131.jpg

New stator and reg/rec installed giving a nice 14.5v max charging voltage once running again.

And whilst the above was going on with the 675 in the one space, the hydraulic table had the 900 on with @beerkat parts ( ;) cheers) front brake upgrade.
A bit of father and son time eating cheese toasties and mending the two bikes between us, ready for spring

Glad to see the brake parts went to a good home. But also a bit envious that I couldn't get them to fit my bike. I can't remember if I explained the issue. I had T100 spoked wheels fitted to my Street Twin when I brought it back in 2017 and sold the original cast wheels (on here). After much messing about it finally became clear that the spokes take up more width inside the rim than the cast 'spokes'. The Brembo 4-pot is significantly wider than the OEM 2-pot and simply wouldn't fit in the available space without fouling on the spokes. This is probably why Triumph never upgraded the T100 caliper, like they did with the ST.
I'd be interested to know how much difference the upgrade makes when you get the bike on the road.

So far, as shown by the raindrops on the mudguard above, it has just run up and down our street in the rain.
This was a feet down, first gear rapid acceleration on wet tarmac up to say 30 ish, followed by an emergency brake to bring the abs on and back to a standstill.

It is definetly easier, as in hand pressure required, to bring the abs into play.

Using less pressure, the modulation feels perfectly good and should improve things especially when two up, bearing in mind the bikes weight as well.
A proper test ride would soon confirm my initial thoughts, but I'm very confident the above has created and demonstrated a definite improvement!

    Just for comparison;
The gen 1 brake isn't that bad given the expected use of that style of bike, however it is quite poor when compared to my 765 which is also lighter. I rarely previously used the front abs, although it did save my skin at a particular curved junction in Scotland on gravel
Not a brake fault, more like a bit of over enthusiasm

I will follow up with a test ride report once I have a proper day out on it two's up, and today could've been a possibility, but the wife when asked just said, "are you having a laugh?"

too cold, too wet, too muddy, too slippy....... ok let's go in the car!

I think that was a no :joy:

Not so much done anything with my Triumph, as made a decision about it.
I've decided that I'm not really getting on with my Tiger 900 GT Pro for various reasons, so it's going for something else...
I'm looking at a few other bikes, maybe continuing the tourer/adventure type bike with a Suzuki GSXS1000GT or, for a change, something unfaired, possibly a new model Speed Twin 1200.
I might even ignore the new stuff and look at reverting back to a bike I've had before, a Speed Triple 1050 RS.
Can't make my mind up currently, but there's plenty of time before it gets warm enough again :)

    A combination of things really.
One was the vibes, after my 800, I found the 900 vibes a bit intrusive at anything over 70.
And, after doing a trip to France last year, I've come to the conclusion that, these days, I want something both a bit lower seat wise, and with a lower c of g.

As the roads around here are pretty much dry at the moment, I took the STRS shopping for a pint of milk (ok, I know it's in litres now) a bit parky out there, but good fun, even though I only did about ten miles (the long way to the shops obviously).
