Great collection of motorcycles that are sadly collecting dust in our storage unit. Originally bought as an investment and to feed our love of old motorcycles has somehow turned into annoying monthly storage fees on our credit card that seem to have no end. Who knew storage prices would increase astronomically over the past five years to what they currently are? Perhaps, joining this forum and interacting with current members will ignite the motivation we need to get them back on the road and seen by others who appreciate them.

@Chris and Shanes Welcome to the family. What a nice collection. Yes get them out there on the road again. Do let us all know what you do. Just think of the smiles you will get. Think i would opt for the tiger 110.

You need to check the engine/frame numbers on your 61 ton ten as it should have a bathtub rather than just a rear mudguard.

The engine is certainly one of the late pre-unit lumps as it has an ally head from what I can see together with the duplex frame which was produced from late 1959 to 1962 covering 3 production years.

The 1960 model year started on 3rd September 1959 with engine No. TR6 029364. This numbering continued from the previous year until it was decided to change the numbering system to a ‘D’ prefix and start at 6T D101 on 17th September 1959 and continue with the ‘D’ prefix until production stopped at TR6 D20308 on 30th July 1962. The T110 model ceased production on 6th July 1961 at Engine No. T110 D14947.

Can you please tell us what the engine/frame number is of your 61 ton ten?
