First decent day in a good while so got the Tiger out. Called to see my brother whilst over that way - no salt about but there was a decent amount of crude to clean off when I got home

Not bad for Jersey! Got out yesterday and today. I love these little warm spells. As we say here in NJ, if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. The bike makes you appreciate these nice days even more. Today I rode up to Marlton to see my youngest brother who is recuperating from lower back surgery. We ordered a pizza in and pigged out. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice as well. Maybe another spin.

So happy to see folks getting out there and taking advantage of the bits of warmer December weather! After crazy rain yesterday it was sunny and in the 60's today, so we hopped on the bikes and had a first. First ever group ride for the four of us (dad, mom, son and daughter) on the road; we've ridden offroad together but now the 16yo has her MC permit allowing her to ride on the street and the son has passed the MSF course. My handsome husband led and I brought up the rear, riding through rolling farmland going past lakes, traditional red barns, chicken houses (whew!), and grazing cattle. How could it get better? It was all I could do to hold the tools to cut a seat cowl base. Blimmin' freezin' in the garage.

How cool that the four of you did your first street ride together, @Martine! What a great photo. You might have to photo shop yourself in. Hmmm, nah. "Real" photos rule! ;):joy: So glad you got decent enough weather for the whole family to go for a ride. :):sun::heart:

Well today I decided on a couple of comfort upgrades. Due to medications I get really cold hands even when it’s not that cold. So I fitted some Oxford Retro heated grips (a bargain at only £49.99) and a pair of hand guards.
I’m still not going out till it’s dry and a lot warmer.
    Thanks

Just fitted some short levers to my Street Cup. Will have to wait for the weather before I know if they feel good or not ..... but they look good!

They look good, @Obijohnkenobe! I see they say Street Cup on them. Are they a indeed Triumph product? I'm looking for new levers for one of my bikes.

I am not sure what style you are after @Sandi T but I have Raximo levers on my bikes; brilliant quality and there's loads of colour options that you can configure.

Thanks for a suggestion, @Mrs Visor. I’m primarily looking for levers with a lighter pull and shorter reach. I’m starting to have some hand arthritis and problems with my thumbs so I’m primarily concerned about functionality. Although aesthetics is always a close second. ;):joy:

I have mine for the shorter reach - I have really small hands (but big feet.....).

I had a quick 70 or so miles to the Baffle Haus and back. Lovely ride even if the roads were filthy and greasy, it was just nice to get out. Not so lovely was the length of time it has just taken me to sort the bike out afterwards .
