    Hi,

I am looking for a set of armoured over trousers that I can wear for my commute to work over my work trousers, I’m not too concerned about waterproofed ones as I primarily only ride in dry weather. Preferably need to be AA rated and have knee and hip armour and zippered lower legs so I can take them on and off over my boots. I am wondering about mesh as they would be cooler during the hot summer months. I can’t seem to find any.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

@Bully As said i always shop via Infinity and find them very helpful. Not sure if you have any local outlet but they do a web page.

Richa Stripper Trousers only available from Motolegends.
Have used them for years as my main bike trousers over jeans. Easy to get into and remove.
Think there's a video on YouTube

They can be warm but work well over regular trousers. I commute in them over my work jeans and find them convenient.
For trips in warm weather when I'm not working I wear a pair of Merlin armoured jeans, otherwise I stick with the Richa over trousers as my main biking trousers.
I like the Richa as I'm quite slim and they're a stretchy material with a close fit so there's no flapping around the lower legs and they seal well over my boots. You can also access your jeans pockets easily as the zips operate both ways plus the trousers have their own pockets too.
If you're visiting somewhere you can remove them and walk around in normal jeans and they do fold up and fit into my Kriega R25 rucksack if needed.
I've worn them for loads of miles and they provide a level of water resistance but on long trips you'd need a pair of waterproof over trousers.
I collected my Thruxton from a guy in West Wales and travelled home some 350 miles in awful weather. I was warm but they did allow water through eventually.
Jackets seem to be readily available but I've always struggled to find the best motorcycle trousers but these seem to work very well for me.
