Just joined a few weeks ago. I live in South East Arizona. I currently ride a 2012 Street Triple R and Ducati Monster 1100 EVO. I have a 68 TR6R that I bought in baskets 30 years ago. I have been gradually buying parts for it, I'm building it into a Street Tracker. Plan for it to be finished early in 2025. I'm no stranger to Triumphs. My first bike was a Tiger Cub, and I have had 4 or 5 650 twins. I have also had a Speed Triple and a Sprint, I guess I have had more Triumphs than any other single make. I will be taking delivery of Speed Twin 1200 later this month.
@Mark G Welcome to the family. Some nice bikes you have there. Do if possible send some photo's of them by hitting the upload a file button bottom right corner.
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @Mark G! I smiled when I saw that you're from Bisbee. We're practically neighbors as I hail from Tucson! My hubby and I love Bisbee and we ride down there quite regularly. Maybe we can meet up sometime! Hope you enjoy the forum. It's a great community with lots of nice and helpful folks.
Hey Mark, I'm up in Phoenix. If you get up this way for a ride, ping me. Maybe we can knock out some miles together. I'll do the same if I'm down your way. I am way overdue for a trip down in the Sonoita area. Are you out near Safford?
Hi all - Here is my 2012 Street Triple R on the way back from Sturgis to Bisbee in 2021. I haven't picked up the Speed Twin yet, that will be in a week or two.
Hi - It's a NOS Betor front end from Britech in New England. I bought the forks over 20 years ago, just now getting around to putting the bike together. Mark
happy new year damn i miss arizona. what a beautiful place. im in appalachia now and its 15 F with snow, at only 1300 feet.
Happy New Year to you, @speedrattle. Yes, Arizona is a beautiful place. A "bit" hot in the summer but nevertheless... The temp here today when we got home from our weekly Sunday ride was 64º. Hang in there!!!
What is a beauty that new bike is, @Mark G! I recognize those Bisbee hills in the background, too. Now I'll know what bike to look for and perhaps we shall meet one of these days. We are planning on riding down for The Prowl again this spring. Do you know the date yet?? Hope you had a Merry Christmas (nice gift to yourself, BTW ) and a Happy New Year!
