I am looking for £4000 for the bike and its located around the slough area bucks side. The bike is now sold to a fantastic Chap called Pete and a Triumph / BSA fan (bike now sold)
Sorry Joe, I'd have been knocking on your door if mine had been an insurance write off, but they are fixing it instead. Beautiful bike - might need to wait for Spring to get top dollar, but good luck with the sale.
@ajc400 If it sells then i will be happy and probably purchase another Bonneville. But if it does not then i will just keep it. The trouble i am having is i have damaged my right hip which is not healing and i can't get my leg over it or get cramp. Hope they get yours soon.
Joe, I'm sure sorry to read that you're selling your 400X. I know you were really excited to get that bike. Hopefully you can both get your hip challenges resolved and find a bike that works for you.
rpg51 yes could retrain but around fifty doing it the way i do is a hard habit to break. But apparently i can see a specialist next February. Or the other thing is my chosen dealer has a nice Bonneville sitting in the showroom a 2016 model and it is tempting. Even though i said the two four hundreds were definably the last venture.
@ajc400 Not so bad as i have seen a Bonneville 900 scrambler in my chosen dealer which i seem to get on well so it tempting me. Even though i though the 400's were the last
Sandi T working on it. Don't tell Tracy yet. It just hard the fact the bike has all the accessories and they all offer me £3500 or less. It only has eight hundred miles on it. The only dealer who said they would allow four thou for it was my chosen dealer Bulldog who i purchased the bike from. See you are have more English slang lessons lately.
That's a disappointing figure.... and mine is approaching 3,000 miles, so I would probably be offered even less...... if I decided on a change!!
Fortunately I'd have it off the road for winter anyway. I get an update every Tuesday, hopefully this week I'll hear that everything has arrived.
