thruxton bikini fairing

You've done beautiful paintwork Crispey as usual but I'm not sure it works ?

Does it give you a worthwhile improvement in shelter from wind & weather ?

 

Did mine in just plain white and some stickers but doing it properly in winter. But Yours looks really good.

 

Resprayed the bikini fairing on my Trident last year after it developed a nasty scratch (don't ask).

Ended up with a finish reminiscent of black orange peel!

I'm still working up the enthusiasm/courage to have another go at it.

Perhaps if I'd painted it blue it would have had a better finish. Or not!

 

Lovely paint job and a beautiful looking bike.
The squareness styling and overall 'biggish' size of the fairing doesn't really do it for me.

i'm not keen on any fairing on a thruxton, especially the factory one, imho it totally ruins a beautiful bike.if you need a fairing i think something like this looks much better

 

That's like the bikini fairing on my Bonnie which the previous owner had fitted from new.
I think it looks ace, would certainly suit the Thruxtons

 

I'm with Dozer, needs lower Stripe's, looking good though !
