Hi, I'm a new member and an old rider. This looks like a great forum for information and news. I just bought a new 2024 T100 just in time to put it away for winter so I'll have plenty of time to add a few farkles while waiting for spring here in Monkton Vermont. I've been riding for 52+ years not counting a youth full of dirt bikes and mini bikes. I've had a couple dozen bikes over the years, of all kinds of styles and purposes. My first street legal bike was a 1969 BSA 441 Victor Special , hence my lifelong love of big single thumper dual sport bikes. I currently have a beautiful 1981 Honda CB750C Custom and the new Bonnie T100. I've recently thinned the herd in my stable by selling my 2018 Ural Retro Hack and my 2018 Kawasaki KLR650 to make in room for my T100. I had full knee replacement surgery on both knees last winter and I'm back on two wheels now but have changed my riding priorities to fit my age and current needs. I think my new Bonnie will fit perfectly. I look forward to learning from everyone here. Thanks K.C.
Just switched to a Bonneville. Ergonomics and ride is comfortable. No vibration in wrists. I say do it
@Kevin Corrigan Good intro and welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right and show us some of the machines.
Hi Joe. I'm still waiting to pick up my new Bonnie T100 as the dealer has my tail rack and a Denali 120DB horn to install before I pick it up. Hopefully it will be this week and I'll post pics then. In the meantime here are some picks of my 1981 CB750C Custom and the grandkids minibikes that I still have and my Ural Retro and KLR that I recently sold.
@Kevin Corrigan Wow what a collection of very nice toys. I love the CB750 over the years I have had about four of those. And yes if one came up at the right price today I would have it. They were so laid back but fast enough. Yours looks like new as do all your collection
Thanks Joe. It's a very nice bike CB750C with only 8.5K original miles on it. It runs like a sewing machine and the four pipes sound like music.
@Kevin Corrigan Its a beauty. You know if I lived nearer to you I would be plaguing you to sell it to me
I haven't bought a brand new bike since 1975 so after paying more for my new Bonnie than I've ever paid for any bike I could probably talked into selling it. I'll post some picks of the Bonnie as soon as I get it home.
