Hi All, thanks for the welcome from Rob.
My reason for joining is a bit spurious. I've taken on recommissoning my late brothers 1971 A75 rocket 3, for his son. My nephew wants to keep it in the family for his sons [he has 3] when they grow up [oldest is 7].
My brother met Norman Hyde who converted the A75 to an, what could be called an A100, namely 973cc.
To upgrade the brakes, a T140 twin disc front and single rear has been fitted to the A75. The bike hasn't been run for over 25 years and the Dot 3 brake fluid has completely gummed up the internals of the master cylinders.
I have bought a reconditioning kit for the master cylindes but they don't include fitting instructions or a diagram of the order in which the rubber internals go.
I have tried Gerling, Lucus, LP Williams [original supplier of the T140 brakes] and the British Bike shop where i bought the re-con kits from. Nothing!!!
So please, has someone got a copy of the internals of the T140 brakes showing the position and order of the rubber seals for the master cylinders, front and rear.
Any help locating these diagrams are appricated.
    Rich

@Rich Pelham Welcome to the family. There are some very skilful peeps on here who build and restore the older bikes. I am sure someone will pop along soon to help out.

Somewhere l still have my original Triumph workshop manual for my 1978 T140. Maybe someting in that-finding it might be a bit of a task but l can have a ferret. Might be a few days as l will be working away this week :)

Thanks Joe and Mighty Boosh for your replies. Working on the bike I found a mist of oil on the rear brake master cylinder. So I though I ought to replace all the rubber seals in the braking system over winter. To that end I I found Montys Classic Motercycles had the rear master cylinder kit and He kindly supplied me with the kit and the schemitic diagram of the master cylinder internals. So thanks for looking but I now have the information I need.
    Many thanks
