I have a new 2024 Speed Twin 900 with 780 miles on the clock. First service was at 600 miles. I have ridden 110 miles since the service with no problems.
Whilst out riding yesterday decided to open her up and see what she could do. For the first time ever at about 60 mph in 3rd she refused to accelerate further. It felt like there was a fuel interruption. Changed up a gear and the revs increased but struggled to attain 65 mph.
Pulled over and stopped the bike. In neutral I could rev to 6000 but then the revs would fall right back. Filled up with fresh fuel in case that was the problem, changed to ‘Rain Mode’ to see if that made a difference but no change.
Seems worst in 2nd gear won't go above 3500 revs. It’s happy riding around at 60 mph using all the gears but something is not right.
Anyone had a similar issue or know what the problem is before I call the dealer on a warranty issue?
